Jan Simonsen - Voice Actor

Jan (pronounced YAN) lives near Newcatle-upon-Tyne in the North-East of England.

Jan started his professional career in 1977. He has performed throughout Europe as a musician, singer and comedian, and has worked with clients worldwide as an actor and voice artist.

Jan has his own studio in a dedicated building at home. His primary equipmenrt centres around AKG, Audio-Technica and Sennheiser microphones, DBX pre-amp / processor and Focusrite interface. He has Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Cubase and Reaper as his DAWs.

Jan also has a full suite of post-production and mastering plug-ins from IK Multimedia and iZotope.

I’d highly recommend Jan, he’s so professional whilst still being very friendly and easy to get along with. We required a funny presenter for our project and we weren’t disappointed, two exec producers from TV were highly impressed too so that speaks for itself really.
